TOP 3 indie bands I want to see live! – MUSOSOUP

Pay attention to these indications, you’ll want to go to a concert with me.

MUSOSOUP is a platform that reunites independent artists. From now on, Diário de Shows is part of the crew and and is willing to learn about their work and help spread their word. The cool part is that YOU get this gift, which is listening to good music.

The only problem is that I’m addicted to several new artists and really want to see them live hahaha. You will probably feel the same!

On today’s post, I’ll tell you my TOP 3 artists who would be amazing as opening acts for Lollapalooza, for example (this is the reference that, in my opinion, are sensational bands and almost nobody knows. But after they find out, they regret having arrived later only to see the headliners).

THE YARRAS

The typical story of high school friends that form a band we want to listen all day long. On their YouTube channel, you will find some very home-style vídeos from their concerts, with that small (really small) agglomeration that you and I love!

The Yarras is that band that play a more intimate show in a small venue here in São Paulo, and we all go home happy. That fun and nice vibe, you know?

According to the band members, the lockdown made them more productive, which led to the release of their debut single last month, “Raise My Hand Into The Sky”. Listen and tell me if you can imagine us jumping with our hands in the sky on the chorus at their show!

BIRTH BY DREAM

Birth by Dream is a band capable of making us feel the drama that every emo loves. And do you believe they are looking for fans all over the world, since in Italy their style of music is not so recognized? I thought it was absurd either.

You can come to Brazil now, Birth By Dream! We’re ready for you!

The band released their debut single “Chronophobia” on October 2020, about the fear of time and its weight on us.

“Time was the first limit that went into oblivion and the precious moments that life has given us. We live in a society based on profit and individualism”, said the band about the current moment we are living due to the coronavírus situation. Click on the video and listen to one of my new favorite songs:

DUKE FRENZY

Duke Frenzy is an English band so full of energy that apparently they love to get into trouble. They call themselves the Rebel Folk, and bring a lyrical power and contagious rhythm to the public. What does that mean? Listen to the single “Disintegrate”, also released in February this year, and you will find out!

The band said that they love being on stage! In some posts on their Instagram, the captions of the pictures say that making music in these times has not been easy, but it has helped them to maintain their health, and being in the studio recording is like meditation.

Did you like my recommendations? I hope so!

It would be really cool if you support them on social medias, saying that you first read about them on Diário de Shows. Maybe one day they take a plane and come here, so we can enjoy their show when the pandemic is over? Who knows?
