# DIÁRIODESHOWSINDICA: 4 independent pop artists new song available! – MUSOSOUP

Check it out MIRJAM CATAL, GORRAN, FI e ELLIOT KID DANGER.

I confess that the reason  I enjoy creating this kind of post for MUSOSOUP platform is to discover so many incredible artists that seem to be in the music scene for so long!

Every time I choose a new song, I get surprised by the quality of the instrumental, voice, and composition. Come and listen to the list for this week, you won’t regret it!

MIRJAM CATAL – KNOCKED OUT

Singer Mirjam Catal alongside her brother and lyricist YKO has recently released the single “Knocked out”. A song for all those who feel knocked out by life. You know that feeling, right?

With pop and alternative-RnB characteristics, the composition is filled with melancholy with a hint of anger. But in contrast, the softness of Mirjam’s voice comes across as a tight, comforting hug.

The siblings live in Austria and are now spreading their talent to the world. Press play and watch “Knocked out”:

GORRAN – WE’LL BE FINE

The young English artist who studied at the prestigious BRIT School (former students include Adele and Amy Winehouse), Gorran, decided to venture into the music business to bring experiences to people.

“I want people to feel something. Whether it’s deep pain or pure happiness, it’s very important to me that there is an experience being lived. I really don’t like the idea of my music being held to a particular genre, it’s not about that. It’s about the purpose and impact of each individual song. I want to tell stories that will live forever in music.”

The musician has spent the last few months writing and producing his new single “We’ll be fine”. A song with indie and alternative pop tones, which has garnered thousands of views on its stream.

FI – WORTHLESS

FI sings their new release “Worthless”. At first, it seems like a song about the softness and beauty of love, but in a few seconds of listening, you can feel on your own skin all the pain in its dark melody and the beat marked as a heartbeat.

You can already imagine that “Worthless” is about a relationship built on lies and manipulation, right?

This is a perfect soundtrack for those moments when the bad vibes don’t even hit, they really beat up! And you put on a sad song to make it even sadder.

Ironic how comforting this is, right?

ELLIOT KID DANGER – TOO MUCH

Do you ever feel overwhelmed by people’s expectations? Like it’s impossible to please them, you know? But then you realize that you don’t have to please anyone, that’s their problem. And then you feel free!

Elliot Kid Danger wrote “Too Much” to express all this suffocating feeling. He took his self-power and declared “I think you’re asking too much from me” making this song.

Harmonically inspired by Frank Ocean, Mac Miller, and Tyler the Creator, the artist created a groove with metal instruments and an organ, referring to the times in which he lived in the church fighting against the imposition of the required standard of behavior, totally different from his own essence.

I hope “Too Much” makes you feel as good as I felt while listening and creating this post!
