MORNING CRUSH – PEACEFUL MIND
Genre: Alternative Rock – Folk
Country: UK
In “Peaceful Mind” the guitar + bass melody set deep in the background and the singer’s hoarse voice, make this single a great option for those moments when we just want to relax.
The song talks about anxiety and depression from the point of view of Tim (singer), and we know that nowadays we all need a little peace for our heads, right?
Despite the difficult theme that is the reality of many people, this song makes me feel peaceful. You should listen now:
IVAN MOON: CELLOPHANE
Genre: Indie Pop – Punk – Alternative Rock
Country: UK
Another song about human behavior in times of coronavirus. According to singer and songwriter Ivan Moon, “Cellophane” reflects the anxiety of checking your phone every time. Like an obsession.
Now, we have an online social life. Real-life feels empty. And so many people have no idea how to deal with this, right?
About the “Cellophane” sound experience, for me is a really fun song. Like those ones that we listen out loud and dance like nobody is watching!
“I want to bring energy and groove where music is missing today. I just want the project to be weird and fun. ” Declared the musician and composer, who has just launched his solo career. It’s worth following up to see where this is going, don’t you think?
MARYNCHARLIE: FLYMODE

NIGHT CAP: 89 LOVE
Genre: Indie Pop – Pop Rock
Country: US
This song is on my work playlist hahaha. I confess that the beginning of this song was shocking me because it has no instruments, but not in a bad way, it was more like “wow”.
You press play and the voice comes with a certain impact. Soon after, the instrumental appears and the characteristics of indie music resonate leaving that feeling of comfort.
“This song highlights the importance of the happy moments lived with the people you love the most. On the other hand, this song also represents finding peace with yourself even when the curtains are closed and there is no one around. Despite the challenges or setbacks, cultivating love is what unites us in the end. ” – affirms the band.

HUMAN HISTORY – MOONCHILD
Genre: Indie Pop – Alternative Pop
Country: Reino Unido
Have you noticed that most of the time when we listen to a song for the first time, we pay attention to the instrumental first than the lyrics?
When I heard “Moonchild” from Human History f was just like that. I thought, “Wow, what a nice song to listen to in the late afternoon or even working”, you know?
I like the piano in the introduction and the electronic beat that the song brings. His voice is soft. But, the musician says that “Moonchild” explores the theme of a dysfunctional love relationship. And when I paid attention haha the trigger rolled loose.
Interesting how the artist managed to translate into the melody, the addiction, and the confusion that this type of relationship is capable of involving a couple.

SCREAMS FROM THE SUN – COME UNDONE

The instrumental in “Come Undone” was the first thing that caught my attention. But I can tell that the vocalist’s sweet voice is charming too.
The band consists of only 2 members. And Francis Jupiter and Mimí Out, compose and produce their work by themselves because they don’t like being stuck with a single record company. “We are building a career on our own, after 4 years of being street musicians” – they affirm.
