The Band released a musical work quite different from what fans are used to hearing.
With progressive rock characteristics filled with dramatic melodies, VIX 20 presented their single “Broken Melody” to the public in March.
“This song is an open letter to the world of music. A slightly sinister journey through joy and sadness. ”– Affirms the band.
Of course, I was listening the other songs on the setlist, because “Broken Melody’ was the first VIX 20 song I heard. And really, this new single is quite different from what fans are used to know.
For my music taste, I would love to hear more songs like that by them. “Broken Melody” is strong and sentimental.
In the middle of the song (3:02 to be more specific on youtube) they sound like Aerosmith and then sing like Queen in Bohemian Rapdosy (that part of Scaramouch, Scaramouch), according to my auditory memory, ok? The band has these addictive progressive chords and the final instrumental is chilling! The last few minutes of the video are totally out of the unexpected.
Listen to “Broken Melody” now and when you’re done, you’ll want to do it again. Trust me.
Vix 20 is formed by CJ (guitar and vocals), Mills (guitar and vocals), Kill (bass), and Rich (drums). Follow the band on social media: instagram | youtube | facebook | twitter e spotify:
